Carmen van Liere

Lawyer, Senior Associate

Carmen is an experienced lawyer with a strong analytical foundation, which she effectively combines with a pragmatic approach. After completing her studies in Dutch law at the University of Amsterdam, she pursued two master’s degrees at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, including a Master in Private Law. During her studies, she gained valuable experience working as a court clerk at the Amsterdam District Court and as an intern in the litigation department of an international law firm. After graduating, Carmen worked for over eight years at Pellicaan Advocaten (in alliance with Mazars), where she further specialized in employment law. In June 2024 she completed a post-graduate course on employment law (PALA).

Since June 1 2025 she has joined Bronsgeest Deur Advocaten. Carmen advises both national and international clients on a wide range of employment law matters. She supports clients with reorganizations, individual dismissal procedures, disputes over employment conditions or restrictive covenants, collective labor agreement (CLA) issues, and works council matters. In addition, she has a particular focus on guiding organizations in developing gender-neutral employment benefit packages—an increasingly topical and socially relevant issue.

Carmen is a member of the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association (VAAN).
